Autumn Treescapes

I was really looking forward to 'recharging' my batteries with a walk around Yatton Park last week and after several days where things kept coming up I finally made it there last Friday. The top photo is my favorite, the way the light falls on the trees trunk and the way it seems to go up so far it could reach the sky...
I couldn't help having a play around with a few of the photoscape filters, the result below is the combination of about 3 of them.

Next post: Circles and Dots- Featuring Mick Mather's  'Reinventing the wheel' series and a revist of Robyn Gordan's (Art Propelled) Spots and Circles post and some rusty bottle caps. Watch this space:)

I love the two top photos. I'm less fond of the bottom one. Sorry! You're a good photographer.

I like the second photo as much as you do, Lisa, and for the same reasons. :)

Gorgeous gorgeous. I was taking some shots of spring blossom today, filling the frame with colours like you, but at the opposite side of the year.

It is so odd to come here and see autumn, right now of course we are in full spring swing here! The image with the filters really speaks to me of your dots and lines somehow...

Love those photos of the trees. Can look right up at the sky through their height and love the light through the leaves. Such an interesting effect with your filters on the third photo- very creative and there's something very magnetic about it- it just draws me in! Thanks for sharing these!
