We made it!

Old iron, old doors and old paint...taken several months ago in Waihi.

I can hardly believe only a month has gone by since I last posted. It feels a lot longer and if I am being honest I would say that these doors look a little like how I feel! I am so very glad to be home though. My daughter spent 16 days of the last month in hospital, 1 major operation turned into 2 due to complications, its been a difficult time but as my daughter said today... we made it!
Recovey is going to be a long process with hospital visits 2 or 3 times a week and extra demands on my energy and time... but at least the journey has started.
Thank you all for your kind wishes and comments, they are very much appreciated!

My thoughts are with you and your family now- sending healing wishes to your daughter. Recovery is very slow- so be patient and know that there are so many people that will be thinking of you and her- that you don't even know. What a wonderful picture you've posted. Just perfect to stare at and dream away!! xo
