Again...

This is getting far too reptitive for my liking! My son is in hospital again and has been for the last 3 days. I've got no idea where there this ends but I sure hope it's soon! It's been 4 months now since he first got sick and this is his 7th admission to hospital. It's not just the glandular fever making him sick, it accounts for most of it but not all of it. There's been many tests and 2 small operations and the doctor's still have no idea what is all they can do is treat the symptoms. On the plus side he's not actually getting sicker...just not better either.
I miss all the blogs I love to visit and all the inspiration that comes from it- lets hope, pray, wish and keep fingers and toes crossed we find the home run soon!
Take care and be well!
L:)

Lisa, my heart goes out to you. The hospital run is so exhausting and not knowing makes it even worse. I'm holding thumbs and sending positive thoughts and prayers that you have your home run and that the doctors get to the bottom of it .... make a small adjustment in medication and solve everything. Give your poor boy a gentle hug from me. (Wish I could come over and take you out for coffee and chats between hospital visits....They were my saving grace)

I'm very sorry to hear that, Lisa. I wish your son's illness wasn't so much of a mystery. It is worrisome. I wish you and your son all the best and I will keep everything crossed for a good outcome. My thoughts are with both of you. Take care.

I'm so sorry that that the cause of your son's illness remains a miserable mystery for all of you. He should be enjoying life and not sitting in a hospital room...I hope one of those docs figures something out soon so your little one gets well and your lives can resume. Sending you tons of hopeful wishes. You are a very brave and strong mother.

I know the feeling of a sick kid, my oldest daughter had mono twice in one year and then had her appendix out. After much back and forth the doctors have decide that she has an immune deficiency and probably Epstein Barr/chronic fatigue and will probably have to marshal her physical resources for the rest of her life. I hope your little guy is feeling better and that life gets back to normal soon.
