NZ Silver Fern

I don't usually post the same photo in more than one place but I really like this one! It doubles as my 2 things challenge entry because the theme this week is Black and White! This is the underside of the native NZ silver fern...the top of it is actually green! I used the black and white editing tool to make this B&W not shaddows and silver.

I have been developing a nest inspired photo series lately...watch this space!

Another fine photograph. There's no better example of variation & repetition than nature and you've captured it here.

Hello. I followed Johns blog here. Great to see the famous 'fern' picture! I really like the b/w.
I think we had fern-patterns in my childhood home, and I am intrigued by it for its simplicity and the way it is both Long Island(my childhood home) and Japan (my present home), and it from your image, looks like it is home to you too (New Zealand?).
I also like your altered cards. Best wishes and happy creating. I look forward to visit again.
