Going away....

Tomorrow (Monday 28th in NZ) my eldest is having major surgery (bone grafts and bones fused in both ankles plus knee surgery) so I'll be staying at the hospital with her for 4 days while DH keeps things ticking at home for the other 2. Her op's not life threatning but it's a big one so please keep her in your thoughts! In brief Miss 10 was born at 27 weeks and as a result she has cerebral palsy, we're hoping that this op (her 3rd) will enable her to stand again, an ability she's lost as she's grown and her feet and legs have deteriorated. She's a real trooper though. Good natured, brave and she has a fantastic sense of humour so we'll pull through this together and I will be looking forward to getting home again and catching up with what you have all been up too ( I'm hoping for a quick tour around the globe before we go of course!)
Take care, keep creating and peace be with you!
Lisa:)

Oh, all the best of luck to you and your daughter and ever so many good wishes. I am sure everything will go well. I am sending good thoughts your way, if it is any help. Be brave and she too.

My prayers for Miss 10 that this operation is a success and that she has many joyful days ahead, regardless.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately, but I continue to read and comment on blogs. Life is full right now.

I've dispatched my own guardian to assist you during the watchful hours. It may be some bit of work to get me back out of trouble upon return, but, that's what Angels do. :)

We've heard a lot about your wonderful daughter.

Although obviously nowhere near on this scale my son had a bone graft in his face from bone taken from his thigh, which was entirely successful. I seem to remember he had to drink soya milk only, not dairy, so that the graft would take. Although he didn't like it, I got a taste for it, and still sometimes buy it to this day.

All the best.X

Best wishes and strong love for your child. willing it to be a successful and easy process.
wishing you strength as well, sometimes it is almost as difficult to be waiting as to be undergoing.
Best love

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Lisa and your little girl. I know this will be a very difficult time for you and your family, may it be some consolation that so many people from so many different places on this tiny planet are thinking of you and wishing you and your daughter well.

I hope all is well considering the operation. I had major leg surgery when I was in third grade.
