New profile pic
This is a collage that I did a while ago using magazine images which I have decided to resurrect for my profile because I love it so much:) It's called 'Journey of Self.'
It's a pity Frances isn't around as she has an interest in these wooden dolls!
To me, I think this is saying that your art makes you feel very alive and enriches your life to a great extent, as the the person is doing cartwheels, as it takes you out of the purely mundane. I like the eyes, as they are windows on the soul, and I like the different variations on the faces, which just emphasises you can take your art or what it means to be you, anyway you please!
I think it's perfect for your profile. It captures that which I see in your work -- a joy (the cartwheel), the keen observation (the eyes), and the integral part of being an artist is to you (the art goodies at the bottom). Perfect.

Hi Lisa,
I love this collage! It has such depth of meaning and sense of other worldlyness ...

I love it too: surreal, mysterious, and haunting. I love the eyes and the multifaceted (so to speak) background. Impressive!

Lisa, I love this collage. The eyes are wonderful and the other items just echo your freestyle approach to art. Beautiful work!
I enjoyed your site, watching your Tuscany painting develop, your other pieces, but especially this collage! All very well done, bravo!
