Gingko Trees and Snapdragons

Rhino's, Zebra's and Gingko trees...we've been to the zoo this week! I photographed the animals too of course but it was the Ginko tree that facinated me. Flat, fan like leaves in golden splatters all over the grass and mossy growth on the trunk of this prehistoric tree. If your interested in trees you can see this link here to learn more about this tree species. I will be on the lookout for them now!

My friend photographed me, photographing the tree... and I snapped by daughter snapping snapdragons. (Sorry, couldn't resist that!)

I'm thinking about planting a gingko. They have the most extraordinary leaves. Just a bit scared of their size though!
