Below is information from the Greenpeace email I recieved, this is a GLOBAL day so check out what your country is doing!
Spell it out your message anyway you like, write it in the sand, on an old shoe, use a vivid to write on a leaf.....
Climate Global Day of Action on the 8th December.
The 2007 United Nations Climate Change Conference will take place in Bali, Indonesia, between December 3 and December 14, 2007. These international climate talks - attended by representatives from over 180 countries - will shape the next stage of the Kyoto Protocol, the only global treaty that requires Governments to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and slow climate change.
December 8th will be a Global Day of Action on Climate and will bring many thousands of people together around the world to demand immediate and effective action from our political leaders in tackling climate change.
The objective of the Global Day of Action is to demonstrate to world leaders discussing our future at these climate talks that there is support all around the world for them to take urgent action on climate change.
Here in NZ, Be The Change is asking people all over the country to join in by spelling out personal messages that call for a climate friendly future.
Taking part is easy - just spell out what you want to say to our leaders, take a photograph and email it to photos@bethechange.org.nz . Your picture message will contribute to voices from all around the world being heard in Bali in December.
More information at on the Be The Change website.

Thank you very much for highlighting this cause! I am getting used to taken pictures as I have much practice from doing the Two Things Challenge. I already know what I will send. It is a picture of a tree with the buds of spring blossoms on it which I saw yesterday. Surely not right in November?
(By the way, I can't get onto your blog from mine as it says 'Profile Blogger Unavailable', for some reason. I don't know if you are aware of this!)
Lisa, I get the same message as Bev. I was wondering what you were doing with the food dyes and now I know. This photo is perfect to illustrate the cause. Global warming is a serious issue despite our president Bush's non-involvement with environmental issues. The people know and care though.
Hi Lisa,
Not only is this a great message ... and oh goodie, another reason to write about the environment!
But also, this image is beautiful! I know the message is somber, but I love it!
