I am begining to form an attachment to this painting! Lol. I am getting so close to being finished that it is getting exciting. Not sure what to put in the 2nd flower field yet or if I should do a 3rd one on the left. Smaller of course! And not poppies :) Would you believe that these poppies are 2 shades of red, orange, yellow and black? Plus 2 shade of green for the foliage. There's a close up below of them. Let me know what you think!
I think the lady you got the commission from will be very happy to see the flowers with such special significance for her, especially when they have been so carefully painted. I think there is room for a third field on the bottom left, you asked us what we thought, though hope this doesn't mean you are up all night! A lovely painting.
